Eaglewood Equestrian Supplies was founded by Victoria in 2015.

She has a very extensive horse background riding and training horses in disciplines including Gaited, Western Pleasure, Hunter, and Dressage. Victoria also holds a FEIF Trainer/Instructor Level 1 for Icelandic Horses and is a member of the Ontario Farrier Association. When possible she also competes at horse shoeing competitions. 2016 Battle in the Bronx Division 1 Overall Champion & 2023 Canadian Horse Shoeing Championships Division 1 3rd Place Overall.

She was bitten by the horse bug at a very young age and has not looked back since. With that being said, she enjoys giving back to the horse community or donating her time to help new riders get their feet in the equestrian world. From helping with training (riding or instructing on the ground) to educating and discussing general horse care, she is a very trusted horse person in the equine industry.

She has sat on the Ontario Icelandic Horse Association Board of Directors, and currently holds the position as the President of the Canadian Icelandic Horse Federation. She is also very heavily involved with the CIHF World Championships Committee sitting as the Chair as well as competing for Canada.

She is most well-known for competing internationally on the Canadian Equestrian Team. She has represented Canada a total of 4 times at the Icelandic Horse World Championships. These competitions were held in 2009, 2013, 2015, and 2019 in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, and Germany respectively.

At the 2013 World Championships, Victoria placed 17th in her T2 adult class with a total score of 6.93. This accomplishment was particularly remarkable as she only had 4 weeks to train on a “borrowed” competition horse. Due to the high costs of transporting their own horses to Europe, most members of the Canadian Team do the same. Riders from other countries have an advantage in that they train and ride their own competition horses for a much more extensive period.

From her opportunities at the World Championships she has been able to learn from and train with the best of the best. She has spent a lot of time in Germany working at various horse farms learning about starting young horses, training, saddle/tack fitting, and shoeing practices/hoof care. The knowledge that she has gained has proven to be invaluable in her day to day life training here at home, but also shines through in Eaglewood Equestrian Supplies.
